Okay, so, I'm trying not to flood my blog with dozens of posts but there was an article in the Denver Tribune calling for ban of high-capacity magazines. While this is firearms related it is also a political stance. Should I cover it and give my opinion or leave politics out of it?
I have to report on politics for a living. There is nothing worse in this world than talking to a politician, they are always smug and self-involved. If ever you do end up talking to politician just look at them while you're talking and you can see they're not listening, they're just waiting for you to stop speaking so they can talk.
ReplyDeleteMy advice; avoid politics at all costs.
I think it would be neat if you tried an unbiased perspective. For example, you could talk about the proposal to ban high-capacity magazines and say who is for it, who is against it, and what high-capacity magazines do. Then, maybe, you could have a paragraph called "My Opinion" or something... but it's always good to have that impartial reporting of facts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
i dont think its that big of a deal tbh, but you should cover it if you have something to say
ReplyDeleteI agree with some guy; have an object report then add an opinion paragraph last.
ReplyDeleteIf you have an opinion about it go ahead and cover it that is what blogs are for, anything you have in mind.
ReplyDeleteI say cover it. Following :)
ReplyDeleteCover it dude!
ReplyDeleteFollowing
Definitely cover it.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting; I'd say cover it.
ReplyDeleteIf you think you can do a good job of it, I say go for it.
ReplyDeleteI think you should cover it if you're up to it. Keep in miind the second amendment harbors strong opinions from both sides
ReplyDeleteCover it! I would really like to hear some opinions on this.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wasn't able to follow you back because you didn't have your blog linked on your profile. Fix that and you may see more people following! :D
